A house with a thousand mirrors

Designed and constructed by the Japanese artist Harumi Yukutake for a festival in Japan, called Echigo-Tsumari (back in the year of 2009), this house has covered with thousands of round mirrors.

The house’s (called Restructure) location has chosen to be after a narrow path surrounded by grass. Visitors would come upon this house that seemed to merge with its surroundings and turning the feeling of the border between reality and unreality in to unclear.

As the house itself, every mirror was unique since each were hand cut by the artist.
