Completed in 2010, New Canaan Residence ,structured by Specht Harpman Architects, makes the residents feel the forest inside the house via the implementation of glass walls, a big courtyard and outdoor rooms.
It is possible to see the landscape that the residence has from every corner of the house thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The reason of the spectacular scenery is the location of the house on a lush hilltop site.
On the lower floor, there are storages, an office, a bar, and a work shop; on the upper floor there are bedrooms-bathrooms, a gym and yoga studio, a kitchen and a dining area.
New Canaan Residence reflects its modernity by the wooded area in which the house stands, the design and the visual aesthetics.
