House H is located in the residential area of Matsudo in the Chiba prefecture, on the outskirts of Tokyo, the residential was originally Built in the 60s by Studio Terado Tatsumi and renovated by Hiroyuki Shinozaki Architects.
This home has been creatively reinterpreted, based on this family’s needs and desires to create the perfect space in which they can live.
The volume opens pure white on the outside with a large bay window which cuts the house.
Interior space is designed cleverly, with clean and simple lines but warm, cute and fresh areas. Y-shaped supportive structures made of bonded wood that resemble bunches of traditional wooden attic beams, also an abstract interpretation of trees.
