Milano Salone Del Mobile 2012 Selected

It is impossible to talk about all the brands that took place at the Milan Furniture Exhibition. Yet here, in this file that we have prepared for you you will find what we expose for you.

DE SEDE

What we loved aboutDe Sede group was the quality of the materials and the workmenship.

De Sede presented itsnew TOUCH quality of leather for the first time at the world’s most important furniture exhibition in Milan. TOUCH is the third new category of leather that de Sede has launched in the past two years and forms an ideal complement to the company’s selection of supple, premium-quality leather. TOUCH is a breathable leather that simply could not be more natural or more exquisite.

On the product front, the current easy-chair initiative continues the programme of new models begun in Cologne with its focus on smaller, elegant seating. With de Sede’s joint showing at the exhibition together with team by wellis, the Group is underlining the future policy of the two brands in complementing each other.

The gentle yet powerful embrace of the casually elegant DS-333 sofa is an irresistible invitation to sink back in comfort. This de Sede creation owes its seductive appeal to the company’s inhouse Design Team, which drew its inspiration from the fascinating interplay of various choice qualities of leather and from the union of clean, clear lines with softly flowing shapes.

POLIFORM

During the last Salone del Mobile 2012POLIFORM presented a fascinating output, featuring a wide range of elegant, detailed contemporary design products aimed at meeting the needs of an increasingly international public. This is the concept that blends in the mood and layout of the Poliform stand: a single, homogeneous open space, with an Asian touch, where oriental influences combine with modernist architecture; an echo of old Singapore with oversized spaces and exotic plants.

Wood is an architectural essence, with randomly laid iridescent boards covering the perimeter and staggered wooden flooring in the living area. The modular systems, which have been modified and enhanced by new finishes, define the different living areas, with an interplay of arrangements, where new loose furniture collections, among which the sideboards Pandora designed by Jean–Marie Massaud, the chair Harmony by Rodrigo Torres and the armchair Oskar by Vincent Van Duysen were presented.

Lines with a strong image for the two new sofas designed by Jean-Marie Massaud: Tribeca and Paris-Seoul. Great attention has been focused also on the bedroom area, with two new beds, Minerva by Carlo Colombo and Bolton by Giuseppe Viganò, that can be strongly customised in terms of stile and elegance.
All this has been made possible not only by constant technological research, but also by the creative input of internationally famous designers, who help make the Poliform collection a reference point for various taste categories.

FLEXFORM presented two beds CESTONE& LIFESTEEL both in imm Colonia and Milano. All the bed collection is now much more comfortable…

FLOU also presented a high quality bed collection at the Milan Furniture Exhibition.

PORADA‘s curved wood craftsman was also one of the highlights of the hall 5…

The Porada collection is the result of the proper combining of technological processes with the artisan tradition of this area and the designs are complying with ergonomic, environmental and sustainable design characteristics.

The more you will explore at our photo gallery. Enjoy…
