Hp, the American multinational IT Corporation has introduced the HP Z1, the world’s first all-in-one workstation. Targeting a market of corporate customers from small graphics shops to medical imaging customers to high-end Hollywood 3D rendering, the HP Z1 makes an indelible strong impression on the field with its balanced hardware and strong design -which fits perfect for its mission.

Supported by an Intel C206 chipset, the HP Z1 gives you a selection of processors which are Intel® Core™ i3-2120 (Dual core with 3.3 Ghz and 3 MB cache), Intel® Xeon® E3-1245 (4 core with 3.3 Ghz and 8 MB cache) and Intel® Xeon® E3-1280 (4l core with 3.5 Ghz and 8 MB cache). These processors are supported with an 8 GB DDR3 nECC, 1600MHz up to 32 Gb with 4 slots.

This core hardware serves for Nvidia’s Quadro series (Q500M/Q1000M/Q3000M ve Q4000M) and the storage ability of the work station with SATA 7200 3.5-in. drives (250, 500 GB, 1, 2 TB), SATA 10K 2.5-in. drives (300, 600GB) or SATA Solid State Drives (160, 300 GB) availability.

HP Z1 has 1 PCIe x16 full and 3 miniPCIe slots and several ports which are located in Side (2 USB 3.0, 1 IEEE 1394a, Mic, Headphone, 6-in-1 Media Card Reader), rear (4 USB 2.0, RJ-45 Gb-LAN, Line-in, Line-out, Display Port In/Out, SPDIF, Subwoofer) and inside (5 USB 2.0). The sound gear is an SRS Premium Sound with Dual-cone front-facing stereo speakers.

And at last, with a 400W, 90% efficient power supply, this whole structure hosted by a 27-inch, 2560×1440 pixel, diagonal LED-backlit IPS3 display, supports for up to 1.07 billion colors!

Hp expect to ship his over weighted (20kg+) child in April 2012, with a base model price starting at $1899, having 32 or 64bit Windows® 7 Professional with a reminder tagged as “Linux available 2nd calendar quarter 2012!” referred to HP Linux Installer Kit, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop/Workstation!
