The exhibition “YAKLAŞ” which will be held by the contributions of FRAME Magazine and Istanbul Design Foundation starts on 16th September 2013.
FRAME Magazine and Istanbul Design Foundation invites the actors of the disciplines to take a close look in orter to create an interdisciplinary discussion forum under the subjects: the concepts occuring the recent years of the global scales, rapid consumption of society and quality relationship in manufacturing, an optimist future accross the uncontrolled urbanization.
The first exhibition of the activity series will be at Tarabya Center Building on 16th September 2013 at 17:00. The panel discussion named “SINIRLARI KALDIRMAK / Tanımsızlık Çağında Tasarım”(REMOVE THE BORDERS / Design in the Undefinable Age) will focus on the alternatives and the current situation in the disciplines of the design in this undefinable age while the borders are removed in terms of politics, social and economic concepts. Özlem Yalın Özkaraoğlu will be the moderator of the panel discussion in which Gökhan Karakuş, Şebnem Yalınay Çinici and Osman Koç will join as speaker.
The YAKLAŞ Conversation Sequences on the current city, architecture, design problems and alternative solutions, will be in the forms of panel discussions which will bring together both the professional and academic circles.
