Brazilian practice Stemmer Rodrigues Arquitetura Incorporação have designed a privileged residence into the wild forest of Porto Alegre, Southern Brazil.
The house of the lake is located at the Guaíba lake’s bank and it was projected to attend the family with teenager sons’ necessities, which desired tranquility, in wide and transparent spaces, in total integration with the nature.
Due to the client’s demand, it was created wide, open spaces, practically without furniture and accessories. White cubicle volumes, hacked by stone blades and wood rulers leaning on a deep blue pool integrates with the beautiful surroundings. The wood also composes spaces with apparent concrete walls, leisure and companionship areas are joined to the decks, facing the river.
