The structurally inventive Naha Harbor Diner in Okinawa, Japan, is an innovative example for the traditional Japanese treehouses. The restaurant is placed on a replica of a banyan tree trunk.
The restaurant has organic food to offer to its visitors.
The building is very attractive in the sense that it is very high from the ground and it is located in the middle of a shopping centre in Okinawa. There are two choices if you wish to climb up this fairy-tale like tree and reach at the dining tables: elevators and a winding staircase. Though, we would expect the tree to extend one of its branches and pick the visitors from the ground.
