Hiroe Araki is a freelance industrial designer, was born in Japan. She got her bachelor degree from Industrial Design department in Chiba Istituto of Technology in 2003. After her graduation, she moved in Italy. In 2006, she graduated from the Industrial Design course of Istituto Europeo di Design Milan. From 2007 to 2009, she was working in Candy Hoover Group ‘s design center mainly.
From 2010, she started their own activity. Araki, still lives in Milan, designs products, graphics and websites in her studio, Arakitalia Design . In addition, her studio hands the works of marketing research and design report.
Candy Group, Hoover Europa, Rosieres, TBS TV, Shiina+Nardi Design, Studio Rossi Cattaneo, RossoCigliegia and Geelli are her studio’s clients.
One of her design, named Globe, is an interesting clock. The clock has soft diamond cut and it rotates like the earth. Every edge shows the local time of the capital cities around the world.
Her another product Baum, which is designed this year, is a transformable lamp. You can easily change its shape and create an original lamp. Prototype of the lamp was exhibited first in Salone satellite this year.
