10 Hanover Street is a slender building featuring full height bespoke perforated shutters, having the details which reflect the military tailoring because the Street had been the home of Military tailoring for 130 years (between 1800-1930) on London’s Hanover Street in London.
The building designed by Squire and Partners presents a mixed-use development which also provides a new office building and the Hus Gallery of contemporary art.
The shutters which can be fully opened are a contemporary reference to traditional timber shutters used in Mayfair residences to provide privacy and light modulation.
Each typical floor contains a single apartment with a duplex apartment on the upper floors. Large open plan kitchen/living rooms to the front offer views towards Regent Street and Hanover Square.
