Japanese architecture practice Shinichi Ogawa& Associates have designed this long, narrow house – the longest residence of the century – named ‘150m weekend house’ in Khao Yai, Thailand.
Linear structure is located on the hill, nearby the forest, offering panoramic views of the landscape.
Spanning 11 meters wide, the ground floor’s internal functions begin with a glazed spa, six bedrooms with personal bathrooms and living rooms, storage and maids along the western end.
Deep roof shelters the long deck terrace, which becomes an outdoor circulation along the southern elevation while a corridor along the northern edge of the plan internally links the rooms.
Upper level, on the roof terrace, a white cube contains the living and dining areas with a 40 meter long swimming pool.
