2017 Colour Trends

The Pioneer brands and the designers declared the predicted colour trends of the year. It is clearly seen that 2017 will be the year of the vivid colours that will make us feel energetic and happy.

Pantone Declares Colour Of The Year


Global colour authority Pantone declares ‘greenery’ as the colour of the year. “Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew.”


We already remember the noble shadows of green thanks to the 2016 collections of the prominent brands. It looks like green will be the the colour of the year again. Emerald green will be at the forefront in winter, greenery will revive us throuh the summer months.

Although Pantone declares greenery as the colour of the year, the Institution has also given information about the trendy colours that will be used much during the year.

So, which shadows can we use to create different atmospheres by using ‘Greenery’? Here are the 10 different moods prepared by Pantone to do it:


During the year, primrose yellow, pale dogwood, hazelnut, island paradise, flame, pink yarrow, niagara blue, kale and lapis blue will also be trendy besides the ‘greenery’. There are nice green and blue shadows in this top 10 list; it means we will able to see these nice shadows on many designs.
