This house structured by Office 53427 Firm locates in an area in which there are luxurious houses by single families near Seoul.
The structure of the house, the extravagant windows and gleaming white façade reflects the style of Joo-eun Lee and Kiwoong Ko, the founders of the Office 53427.
Only the structural design can be seen from outside but it is understood that the plan of the various windows and their different forms has a purpose: the diversity of the landscape seen through each window.
The reason of the dense, bright colour is the Alpine White stones named “himac” used indoors at the same time(for instance the banisters above). The combination of 75%stone powder, 25%acrylic resin and 5% natural pigments makes the material durable and waterproof.
