Atrium house by Fran Silvestre Arquiectos

Spanish architecture practice Fran Silvestre Arquiectos have designed a great, contemporary housing project called the Atrium house in Valencia, Spain.

The urban housing project is created to maximize the feeling of spaciousness.

The building is developed along the southern and western boundaries of the parcel, which together with the elements of urbanization of the site, form a kind of atrium with a pool, whose diagonal flight to a distant vision of the Sierra Calderona.

Atrium house is designed as largest as possible on a site, contacts with the outside housing, land and housing understood as a continuum. It also uses the existing slope to the ravine next to illuminate the basement.
