Block House by Taylor Reynolds

Australian practice Taylor Reynolds have designed the Block House in this leafy inner eastern suburb from the 60’s and 70’s in Melbourne, Australia.

The selection of natural, unadorned materials – particularly in the textured concrete blockwork – set the building modestly into the site and street, yet the house stands like a modern sculpture.

Interiors, white and light wood textures are succesfully accented with black color.

Private spaces are located in the upper level while the social spaces are in the ground floor.
