Bvlgari pavilion by NaNA

Not a Number Architects have designed a temporary installation for the prestigious luxury jewellery brand Bvlgari to be visited in Abu Dhabi Art Fair 2012.

The pavilion serves as an exclusive and private venue with live music, a bar and a curated selection of the company’s high end jewellery.

The pavilion reminiscents of Bvlgari’s Italian heritage, brilliant and beautiful. Self supporting entity is implemented without the need for a separate internal structure.

Acrylic tubes are used in different set lengths and diameters – 2272 tubes with approximately 10,000 individual connections. By packing them close together to form mass and also provide structural rigidity.

Just like a rough gemstone, the concept was sliced and cut, then smoothed and polished to contrast within the environmental conditions.
