Trained as an architect, Argentine artist Tomás Saraceno– internationally known for his different architectural proposals, pneumatic sculptures, and environmental installations – has created a new installation of cumulated modules.
A constellation of large, interconnected modules constructed with transparent and reflective materials composed the work named ‘On the roof: Cloud City’ on roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Visitors may enter, walk through and enjoy the view of the modular structures.
The installation can be visited in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, between the dates of may 15, 2012 to november 4, 2012.
