Copper Lamp by Sebastien Goldschmidtboeing

German designer Sebastien Goldschmidtboeing has created a highly decorative copper lamp, a natural light that developes a strong dialogue with its environment.

The floor lighting piece is characterized by a metal half bowl containing a source of light.

The user interacts with the design via an upright beam protruding from the center of the foundation. Just through touching the upright beam, lamp turns on and off or the radiance can be adjusted.

The lamp’s cord appears as if it is collecting energy from the illuminated basin.

The ‘Copper Lamp’ is nominated for the contest, interior innovation award 2012.
