Entrance of DIFFA’s Dining by Input Creative Studio

Each spring in New York, DIFFA‘s DINING BY DESIGN debuts in a spectacular display of cuisine, creativity, and glamour.

At the entrance to DIFFA’s Dining by Design 2013, there’s a brilliant installation, designed by Input Creative Studio which represents the journey of an AIDS victim; illustrated metaphorically through the “light at the end of the tunnel” that DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS)’s efforts provide.

Through the combination of two hundred and seventy two light bulbs, design creates an abstracted mirror, intent to make the cause relatable as viewers look up and see their own reflection.

Floor graphics of the installation is designed by Corse Design Factory and lighting consultant of the project was Studio C Square.
