German designers Axel Van Exel and Marian Neulant have designed the ‘Floppytable’, a nostalgic piece of furniture for those who lived in the 80’s and 90’s.
Floppytable is an occasional table, in the form of a 3.5 inch floppy disc/diskette that was used in PC’s, before CD’s and DVD’s.
The hot-rolled steel table features a metal shutter, typical of floppy disks which can be slid across the length of the table revealing a storage area. Each hand-made unit is lasered with a serial number as a mark of authenticity.
