SpareOne is the only cell phone in the world powered by a standard AA battery. With an easy-to-find power source in most widely available and inexpensive way, the SpareOne also brings another unique advantage: With an Energizer Ultimate Lithium L91™ battery, it can hold its charge, if unused, for up to 15 years!
This $50 priced simple cell phone can also be powered with regular AA batteries too (if they are Alkaline, NiMH or Lithium). No need to recharge. The SpareOne only needs to replace the batteries once they are depleted and it’ll work as new. If you prefer to use Rechargeable AA batteries (NiMH) these batteries should be recharged by an external mean and inserted back on the SpareOne for further use. The manufacturer, Xpal Power, guarantees a charge life up to 15 years if unused and powered with an Energizer Ultimate Lithium L91™ battery. But when it is used? Xpal Power also promises a talk time that can last up to 10 hours.
Xpal Power has defined some use cases like Daily Emergency, Travel, Family Safety and Natural Disasters. Having these extreme advantages for a simple cell phone (plus a flashlight), even if there’s no SIM card inside, the SpareOne can make an emergency call too. Xpal Power has defined some use cases like Daily Emergency, Travel, Family Safety and Natural Disasters. An emergency number may be factory programmed on the Center key of the SpareOne. You can hold the button down for 2 seconds to call Emergency services.
In the end, Xbal Power seem to scratced a check mark to this”Design a long lasting cell phone for extreme conditions and such!” task!
