Home Besares in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina has designed by Arquinoma architecture studioin the year 2008. The house appears to have formed by the addition of elements and shapes such as squares and rectangles. The main mass seems to have formed from combination elements (which create an hollow mass at the end).
Windows are the most important openings in the project. Not only the carrier of light in to the house but also a relationship to outside from inside. A portal between distances and nearness.
A quote from Arquinoma architecture studio’s own comment: “Windows that are ways of looking. Ways of looking that are ways of living. Ways of living that are holes(…) Every window, like any other window, allows a relationship with the distance and nearness.”
