This time we will have a look at the Messner Mountain Museum hoped to be completed in 2014 summer in South Tyrol, Italy designated by Zaha Architecture in collaboration with Reinhold Messner, who is a famous mountaineer.
MMM Corones, the final project of Messner’s mountain museums series inaugurated in 1993 is at the very point of Messner’s world aspect.
This interesting construction attracts attention with its image like a fragment of glacial ice rising from the rocks as its contents.MMM Corones Mountain Museum with its unique views of the Dolomites located on Mount Kronplatz aims to combine the cultural facilities with the sporting and amenities.
Thanks to its 240 degree view accross Zillertal Alps, the Dolomites and the Marmolada Glacier, MMM Corones will host temporary exhibitions and presentations by immersing built spaces inside the mountain image, by expressing power with its labyrinthine trajectory designed within the mountain.
