Oita Airport Lounge by Takao Shiotsuka

Japanese architect Takao Shiotsuka designed a lounge inside the Oita Airport in Japan.

Undulating wooden beams join to create a round table for the passengers to work, drink a hot beverage or lay their personel stuff.

The column that forms the table, reaches down from ceilings like a body of a tick tree or with a little imagination, maybe it can be seen as a fountain that sprouts to the ceilings from the ground.
