Japanese designer Kei Harada have created the ‘O’keeffe’ sofa, a furniture that looks like stacked white baloons, pebbles or marsmallows.
Harada has designed these marshmallow-like, inviting, almost organic looking elements to allow users to sit and lay in different positions, combining the bulging forms in a calculated fashion for an almost climbable structure.
The orbs are made from styrofoam covered with two types of urethane foam and a stretchable cloth, all attached to wooden frames that function as joints for each pillow.
