Open House, Let It Be A Theatre

Matthew Mazzotta created a theatre using the materials of an abondened building in York, Alabama and it is named “Open House”.The high number of abondened houses in the town and the identification of the lack of public spaces created this story. The structure, which seems as a tiny house when it is folded, becomes a public theatre when it is unfolded. How? Like this:

The public theatre, which needs four people and one and a half hours to be unfolded, is the center of shows, theatres and films of the town with its capacity for 100 people.
