Pangal Cabin by EMa Arquitectos

Etcheberrigaray+Matuschka Arquitectos have designed the Pangal Cabin, a minimal housing project located in Casablanca, Chile, nestled in trees at the top of a slope.

While taking advantage of the beautiful landscape views, project was planned to create a refuge.

The house is divided in two areas maintaining spacial continuous, using the Quillay tree as a reference of the site to design the house.

Pangal Cabin is constructed of steel due to its rapid construction rates and versatility. Dark tint has used for exteriors and plywood treated on albayalde for interiors. The idea was to generate an economic solution, natural and neutral condition, in response to the exterior and interior space.
