Here is a very good pizza oven, Uuni 2, designed by Kristian Tapaninaho. Tapaninaho decided to make pizza at his London home but his domestic oven couldn’t achieve the authentic wood-fired taste hedesired.
Uuni 2 gets up to 840°F (450°C) which enables you to cook things really fast. You can make a wood-fired pizza in less than 2 minutes! It’s also not just for pizza; you can cook flatbreads, salmon, vegetables, steaks or really anything that enjoys short cooking times.
Uuni is powered by wood pellets which are very energy-dense; they’re like regular wood except compressed. No additives, no hidden extras. Just wood. The ones we sell are made of 100% oak or you can use the ones from your local barbecue store. The pellets ignite easily & Uuni takes just 10 minutes to heat up, from cold to 840°F.
