We have heard or seen hundreds,if we search, thousands of ideas on creative household goods. But David Steiner leaves the beaten path with “In House” by using his own house as a factory and creating elegant products by using household appliances.

According to Steiner, the project began an experiment in self sufficiency and as a reaction to the prevalence of desktop digital manufacture and he wanted to show what he can do with his existing possessions.

Stein, using household possessions to create products similar to industrial materials, turns a baking tray to lampshade, wooden rulers to a tray, pewter to cutlery in cereal box moulds.
