Italian practice Buratti + Battiston Architects have designed the ‘Villa Garavaglia’ in Mesaro, Italy.
The residence is planned for a single family of three. Common areas are located on the ground floor, with an entertainment area and guest room in the attic.
The house has a folding canopy, exists on two separate levels with small voids creating skylights over exterior courtyards.
The neutral tones and natural material palette of the residence creates a well balanced contrast with the lush green yard-scape. The interior offers spacious light-filled areas with a variety of toned timber in the ceiling and floors.
