The relation between the water and house is central to the design.
The vertically designed pattern provides optimal privacy and a subtle play of light inside the residence, at the same time. Integrated folding windows can be opened and closed by remote control.
One of the three levels of the ‘Water Villa’ is below water, while living and working areas are located above the water.
Through by the inner patio and a distinctive steel staircase, all three levels are connected while sufficient light provided for the lower level as well. The vertical pattern of the staircase also consists of a steel stripe pattern, providing a dynamic display of light and direction.
